Subs | Bravo, Mangala, Gundogan, Bernardo, G Jesus, Danilo, Yaya Toure

C'mon City, we need to improve our poor record against the gunners.

Gareth

Neither Giroud nor Laca start for Arsenal; Alexis at "number 9", presumably.

3 1 and the wins keep on rolling hopefully.

So far so good for Manchester City, who are 45 minutes away from breaking the record for successive victories in all competitions by an English club.

They are currently level with Preston and George Graham's Arsenal with 14.

Hang your head Raheem

You talking about the pass or the pen?

That's a foul outside the box so it's a foul inside. The gunner came in with too much force and he didn't even challenge for the ball

The pass was shit

The pass, if that is what it was. I think he got caught mid thought between shoot and pass.

Great win in the end.

How good does this (live) PL table look. Even if Utd win their ongoing game at Chelsea they will still be 5 points behind us.

Literally

Yes literally haha

City's 11-game haul of 31 points and +31 goal difference is a Premier League record.

A better start than even Barcelona could manage after 11 games, that says something.

Another great result. KDB has added tackling to his ever growing skill set. Sterling needs to look at KDBs contribution without the ball and compare it to his own.

KunDB

Even better PL table

8 points clear

Not our best effort of the season but still a decent performance against and Arsenal side that put up stiff competition. That is two very competitive games in a row. We deserved our win today even if there was a couple of dodgy decisions in our favour. I actually think it is a penalty. The Arsenal player isn't challenging for the ball but he's deliberately stopped our man from getting to it by barging him. Jesus and Dave were both offside for the pass to Dave for Jesus' goal but it was tight - it actually looked that Dave was well off at the ground but it was close at least. Nevertheless, City were better than Arsenal over the 90 minutes so there should be few complaints. Well done again, again, again, again, again....... but this will never get boring.

8 points clear.............yipppeeeeeeeeeeee

In phase 1 jesus was, but when silva passed it to him he wasn't

One of the things I really like about this incarnation of City is how fiercely they go after the ball when they lose possession - especially in the opposition's half. Opponents not allowed to rest for a second. We hunt them!

Not so long ago, when we lost the ball deep in enemy territory, you'd invariably see opponents allowed to waltz back into our half with not a single City challenge going in. Not any more.

We're watching a very good team.

Also - just in case there's any danger of us taking him for granted - David Silva was excellent.

Silva was man of the match for me, in a match full of star performances. One of his finest performances for City in a glittering career.

But he won't get one obviously.

Yes, Nico suspended against Leicester. I'd like to see Adarabioyo given a chance if Vinny aint fit.
