CITY XI | Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Mendy, Silva (C), Fernandinho, Mahrez, Sterling, Jesus, Aguero

SUBS | Muric, Kompany, Gundogan, Delph, Bernardo, Otamendi, Foden

Not entirely surprised to see Kompany on Bench. C'mon City

Just read that Sane has been dropped because Pep isn't happy with his application in training, according to the Daily Mail!

Fair enough then!

Sadly, in this early stage of the season it seems the workrate is not quite the level of last year.

1 1

Due to lazy defending.

Disappointing first half to say the least. We've never put them under consistent pressure. Not like City.

Not our most impressive display but a win is a win. Liverpool have 4 wins playing poorer football. Onwards and upwards.

Far from our best. Pep needs to find a way to get Bernard starting on midfield again. He was our best player when he came on. Shame about Sane, hopefully Pep will sort him, he was shocking last week before his run. Three points in the bag. Keep in touch, the scousers will slip up plenty.

Pep in the post match, no problems with Sane. Too many too fit in. With Gundog and Sterlings contracts running down, that might change.  Agree about Bernardo, I dont see how he can be left out.
