Another walk in the park. We're consistently too good and then some for the opposition in this league.

That performance was mind blowing. I doubt City even got out of 3rd gear the whole match

Sterling is some player all round now. David Silva is pure magic in a blue shirt.

Saints were poor, though troubled us a couple of times. Hughesless looked nervous in the after match spiel, can feel the reaper on his back.
I have never been a fan of Sterling, but he had a good game. However, if he does not sign a new contract, he needs to go in the upcoming window. If not, he will become our version of Sanchez when he left Arsenal.
Silva, a class apart.

That was a very entertaining game today and I have to admit Saints played their part and created a few opportunaties. Sooner Sterling puts pen to paper the better, he is improving all the time and is fast becoming one of the best players in the league - if he isn't already. Dave is still improving too which is incredible. Bernie is as good a replacement for KDB as you could imagine - we still miss him as any team would but no other team has midfielders like Bernie and Dave never mind Kev. Leroy is up there too. So many great attacking players. Not such a good day defensively but over the season the lads back there are having a cracker too.

Apparently Hughes "had a plan" for today - it clearly worked as his team only conceded 6 goals, last season he brought Stoke to the Etihad and they let in 7.  :D

Yes, the opposition weren't up to much, but even so - City were brilliant.

A guy stopped us at Piccadilly. He was a Southampton fan and congratulated us and said we deserve everything we get as that was the best he had seen in his 40 years of watching football. Happy days!

city players must be the only ones where 5 a side in training is tougher than the actual matches
