Will probably get the boot soon

Players not manager that need the boot, under performers.

Looks as though he is set to go as the fans are calling for his head

What next for the Goners

My honest opinion is that they have to show some patience with him. I'm not convinced that he'll do the job for them but there's been signs that he can given time. I don't think a succession of managers would be helpful for them now.

I agree, but Arsenal’s (and Arteta’s) particular problem is the current example of Chelsea, who sacked an inexperienced manager (one with possible long-term potential) and have had immediate success with the replacement. You and I know a copycat strategy won’t guarantee success, but when the alternative looks pretty ordinary for the short-term, we also know how football clubs tend to react...

Sacking a manager certainly can work and I have long been quite keen on sacking managers overall. We've had a fair few that have well deserved their sackings. I just think that in their circumstance that they should show some patience. Arteta will make a decent manager given time and they have been struggling for years now anyway.

Arsenal's home games this season...

L 0-1 Burnley
L 0-1 Man City
L 0-1 Olympiacos

D 0-0 Man Utd
D 0-0 C. Palace
D 1-1 Southampton

Can't imagine he'd still be there if there were fans at games.
