I had a heart attack tuesday, just had a funny feeling in my chest so phoned for advice and was told if it dont improve or gets worst call 999 so i did.A paramedic was here 5 mins later and put a load of stickers on me looked at a reading and got on his radio and said its a code red can you send a unit.an hour later i had a wire in my wrist pushed all the way into my arm to clear a blocked artery i had had a very big heart attack,i still cant believe it no pain or anything got home at 11am this morning.

Should i risk watching the match or not that is the question?

gavin

Bloody hell Bry, all those years of torture have finally took their toll eh! I hope you're better soon. I'm not expecting an easy victory tomorrow. It certainly could test your ticker. You don;t want the last thing you see to be us getting beat by Spuds.

bry the guy

cheers Gav i may just risk watching with one eye then, thanks for the advice.

You cant watch any matches if you are...

Swiss

Just adopt the old attitude... We're gonna lose!!!

I wonder if we'll play Dzeko, seems to do well against spurs!

clevblue

All the best Bry, just listen to the medics, they know how to handle things for you. Do whastever THEY say

Tricky Trev

sorry to hear that Bry, stay off the porn sites for a while

any permanent damage?

bluebrendan

Sorry to hear that Bry, get well soon! If watching City was going to kill you it would have happened years ago.  ;D

bry the guy

Yes there is damage but not that much but it was only through luck.As there was no pain at all i could have just carried on as normal while the damage was being done but i had a feeling something odd was happening so got it checked out something i normally wouldnt have done so i was very luck to have had a big heart attack but catch it before it was to late.

bry the guy

not funny....if i go and get some they will all be gone in no time

Well done for getting the help you needed despite not having pain. Lots ignore your type of symptoms with dire consequences.
(for the record women tend to get vomiting rather than chest pain during a heart attack) Thing is now you've got your artery clear watching City will be less of a risk now, apart from the woeful displays on the field. ;)
Smoking ah always hard to stop but maybe this will give you an incentive are the vapour ones an alternative?
All the best hun.

bry the guy

Cheers Zakk but the electro and vapour ones were no good for me.
