The FA has said the charge has nothing to do with match fixing and does not include him betting on matches he has been involved in. Maybe just a daft mistake because no players are allowed to bet on any football worldwide.

I'm confident none of his betting has any link to his City performances (well... let's hope so for his sake...) - but what an idiot!

The rules are clear, widely known, and there for a very good reason. Stupid, stupid man!
