One of those people who in spite of looking like death warmed up for all of the last decade, you thought he'd go on forever - so a real shock when I heard he'd snuffed it from a friend on twitter yesterday.

And a thank you to Goat for posting up one of my favourite Fall songs (Kurious Oranj) which for some reason I've not listened to for years.

Loved the Fall, watched them a few times live. I got into them during sixth form.

I inadvertently bumped into Mark E Smith about 10 years ago. He staggered out of Mother Macs pub in the centre of Manchester pissed as a fart. Slamming into the walls of the side street. I said alright Mark and he nodded. It was just after midday.
