Manchester City to install 5,620 rail seats in preparation for safe standing

That will be great for atmosphere and fans.

Now they're going to install rail seating in the South Stand

https://www.mancity.com/news/club/etihad-stadium-rail-seating

It seems like it is going to be the whole of the lower tier. I wonder if this is going to be more seats or fewer than there were already? Perhaps a few more. The other question this poses is what implications this has for the development of the North Stand. This was supposed to incorporate a large safe standing area. Has the North Stand development been abandoned then?!

I'm all for it. However, being an old bastard I'll leave it to others these days.

I don't think we want a return to that shite. Did make me laugh when a player was hit with a empty plastic bottle and a big fuss was made though.
