In the end, they struggled to beat a much weakened City side who only bothered to play for 45 minutes. I can't see them doing it.

They're not even in the league of penalties conceded.

No penalties given against them this season.

Bbc

Whether you love Liverpool or loathe them, we are all wondering the same thing now - will they win one, two, three… or all four trophies this season?

With less than a month left, an unprecedented quadruple no longer seems an impossible dream. In fact, even with only the Carabao Cup secured so far, the Reds can already claim they are closer to it than any English side has managed before.

Many have tried too. Since it first became achievable in 1960, there have been 120 other attempts by 15 clubs to become champions of England, conquer Europe and win the FA Cup and League Cup in the same campaign.

Despise their fans much as I do I still have to give them praise for what they are achieving. It is no mean feat to be in the running for four trophies this near seasons end. Hope and pray they don’t do it, but if they do they will deserve all the praise they get and we (City) will have underperformed and failed.

They have achieved nothing but the League Cup thus far this season. The real achievement is winning the last three titles out of four.

As good as Guardiola is and what he has done with city. He will always be a loser, and known as the guy who let Liverpool win it all. That must be sting worse than anything else, and will forever make him a second and a loser. You can twist and turn all you want but this is the cold hard facts. Absolutely shocking and typical city. Even with all the glory and money in the world. And I guess you lot wouldn't have it any other way lol.

Losers?  Mate, if you can't suck it up and accept that City, like any team, are not invincible. Yup, last night was painful, but the football that was served up by both teams was breathtaking.
If Liverpool 'win it all' then it's down to Liverpool being better.  How arrogant and conceited to lay Liverpools potential success down to Pep.
Cold hard facts are that Pep has brought us ot a level that we've never experienced before and he's not finished yet.
